We would love to define ourselves as citizens of the world but, quite frankly, we are not quite sure just what that means. I guess just for the fact we live here on earth makes us that. However, I like to think of that in a different sort of way. We have, to some degree, lived these other cultures; many of these countries we have visited several times, some staying for weeks at a time, so maybe that is the point I am trying I to make. I suppose we can point to some of the following facts to help plead our case: We have now visited approximately fifty or so countries on six continents; have not slept in our own bed for probably four years; we know enough foreign words and phrases to survive in most every country visited; we know the world's airports, trains, and metros better than our own here at home,  are now really quite familiar with the world's money and political systems; we can live out of a suitcase for weeks on end. And on and on it goes....

If nothing else, I suppose we can say we are, at the very least, truly world travelers. What you need to become a world traveler is a passion, and the guts to follow that passion around the globe. I think it is that passion has made it possible for us to visit each of those fifty countries on six continents. I suppose it does help that Anita has worked the past twenty years in the travel industry!!!

These pages are just a small look into how the world looks through my eyes!  I am still in the process of loading and deleting photos as I get the site to the point I am happy with it.
